Plant Manager (SCAFCO Grain, Spokane, WA)

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Experience Requirements

  • 10+ year’s plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years working with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of metal fabricating and/or manufacturing and assembly.
  • Proven experience in increasing the efficiency and profitability of a manufacturing facility.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and supervisory experience.
  • Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements, P&L ownership.

Qualifications

  • Experience and/or excellent understanding of industrial production and supply chain processes.
  • Knowledge and ability to manage P& L statements.
  • Demonstrated success in attaining results with high initiative, drive for achievement, and passion for continuous improvement.
  • Experience in developing and managing high performance teams.
  • Proven track record of engaging the workforce.
  • Demonstrated success in plant wide change management initiative.
  • Record of success working in fast-paced, demanding business environment.

  • Direct operations in these areas: Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
  • Implement, enforce, and continuously improve processes and procedures, ensuring the highest quality of products.
  • Drive alignment of standardized processes.
  • Motivate plant operations team.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering team on CAPEX plans, and ensure implementation is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Serve as a key member of the Corporate Operations Team, participating in significant business decisions and manufacturing strategy.
  • Build productive working relationships with Senior Leaders of all other functional groups including Sales and
  • Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Regulatory, Quality, R&D, and Corporate Development.
