Palp Cage Filler (S197610PG)

Utilized on the inside of the palp cage doors, these panels easily hook to the top of the door to decrease the total width of the palp cage. Each filler panel is 6" in depth. Add 2 panels to the palp cage to decrease the total width of the cage by one foot. Keeps consistent width from alley to palp cage to chute when equipment is squeezed down. Helps cattle continue to move forward and prevents them from turning around.

Nose Bar (S229088RD)

Bar swings across the front to hold the head in a firm position while working. Bars swing out of the way for animal exit.

• Can only be utilized with automatic head gates. (Head gate sold separately.)
• Cattle do not have the ability to move their head while ear tags or horns are removed, and while veterinarian work is being performed.

Head Catch (S226378RD)

With friction bar, Head Catch can be locked in any position, making it adjustable to working both cattle & calves.

• Can only be utilized with manual head gates. (Head gate sold separately.)
• Cattle do not have the ability to move their head while ear tags or horns are removed, and while veterinarian work is being performed.
• Locking mechanism allows for catching the animals head with one hand.
• With friction bar, Head Catch can be locked in any position, making it adjustable to working both cattle & calves.
• Entire unit has 5 mounting positions allowing for 10 inches of vertical movement to accommodate different cattle sizes.
• Installation: There are two 1/2 inch bolts that mount it on a Sioux Steel/HiQual manual headgate. If it's a new Sioux Steel/HiQual squeeze chute the holes are already there. If it's an existing Sioux Steel/HiQual squeeze chute the holes must be drilled. Note: This is designed specifically for the Sioux Steel/HiQual manual headgate. This will not mount to an auto headgate.
